Puppies should be dewormed every 2 weeks starting at 2 weeks of age until 12 weeks of age.

Its NEVER too early to deworm a puppy!! They can get new worms from mommas milk, from each other, and from the environment... and too many worms can cause starvation, anemia, intestinal blockage and lots of other bad problems.

We will have her at the vet monday to make sure everything is okay. Shes curled up next to me right now as I'm trying this. She is a very active dog, but at the same time she's sleeping all the time to. So either she eats, sleeps, or plays lol

Have you seen the other puppies? It's possible that she is not purebred, right? Does the rescue know about the father? She almost looks like a mix in that second picture. Also, it is always possible for there to be 2 fathers to one litter if the female bred to two different males. If the mom was a stray or not properly confined this is definitely possible.

That little baby is adorable!!

And I agree..teeny.

This is a pic of our little one at 6 weeks old next to a normal sized kitty..and I thought SHE was tiny!! She's now a good solid 40lbs, and still small compared to some.

I still think she is full blood. She is absolutely tiny I don't deny that.

It will be interesting to see how she grows up! So you haven't seen any of the siblings to see if they are a more normal size for a 6-8 wk old pit bull?

She's adorable, and looks 5-6 weeks.
Even if a pupis born a runt, it may grow to be the same size as its littermates, or not, it's impossible to predict.
