To my Chicagoans

Postby Nazonee » Fri Mar 13, 2009 5:31 pm

Help please. I brought one of the pups that I had here to Chicago for my son and DIL. She is in need of a GOOD vet in the Far North side area. Banefield is out! Long story that I will not bore you with. Anyway called what used to be my vet when I was growing up and they are now VCA, which to me is out of the question. Any help would be very appreciated. I have no connections there anymore as far as friends w/animals sooo going to the next best thing...my internet gang. Thanks

I would recommend our vet, but he is in Hyde Park (south side). :frown:

I currently take my pup to banfield but I could suggest at least 2 or 3 but are you willing to commute. I know of 2 in the loop and the other in the Lansing area...

OMG! Don't tell me that's little Jelly Bean in this pic!

I remember when she was just a little tub of butter!

Timberline-I have heard of that. Let me double check that is not my friend's vet that she was just screaming about(she has a rotweiller) and I just heard someone else who had a pit yell about some vet in shorewood.

I have been meaning to try that one though. Do you go there? Is there just one vet or more than one? if there is just one which one do you recommend?

What do their shot prices look like and exam prices?(I can call on this if you don't know).

Thank you! Thank you!

HI....yes, it is Jelly Bean in the pic! She's about 3 yo now and is doing well since her knee surgery from late last year. She's due for her annual visit so we'll see you soon.
