I offered both of mine some lemon one time because they were shamelessly begging, both took it, spit it out, picked it back up in case the other dog might want it, spit it back out. Then they both stared at me like I tried to poison them. lol Never tried strawberries though, too expensive up here and most of time not good quality, if I have some the dogs aren't getting any.

I have one dog that doesn't eat fruit, the one in my avatar. My Am Staff is a fruit whore. Pears are his favorite followed by mango. He and the pug love summer, they eat cherries that fall of the tree, they sh** pits for weeks. They also pick the blueberries off the bushes... brats.

Tauri will eat just about anything I give her, even pills. Savvy is much pickier. That being said - be careful about tomato plants. The leaves and stems are toxic. In fact, do some more online research because unripened tomatoes MIGHT be toxic to dogs as well. I'm not sure about that last point...

They must be special...she spits out apple, pear & banana.

Anything wrong with letting her try a piece of orange?

She can eat a bit or orange.
Brody loves oranges!

I offered her a piece of orange this morning.

She sniffed it and walked away. Then I put it in her bowl. She sniffed it again...and walked away.
