I swear I've seen this in more pits than anything, it's like they just can't wait to get rid of their spleens. Although the recovery rate is so good that if I had to choose something big to happen for my dog this would probably be it. Glad he's doing well!

Well if he didn't have a belly full of staples outside and stitches inside it would be easy, but the angle I have to pick him up at is awkward for me and I'm not that big. He isn't a big boy, but he is big enough that it is hard for me. As he is feeling better it is worse because now he is wiggly too.how the heck do you manage to carry him up and down stairs?
What causes a spleen to rupture??
From what I understand spleen can rupture, from masses, tumors, injuries, ...not sure what else
