New here, question about feeding.

If my dog gets too much wet food, his anal glands back up. Nasty I know! My vet says that dogs that don't do the raw/BARF diet shouldn't get very much wet food because their is no counter balance of hardness to scrape the glands and keep them empty. Just one way to look at it.........
