Maybe try a hot compress on it to try to draw it out?

Careful with that diagnosis,,,,,,My story in a nutshell.....Overnight my my girl Bella sprouted a lump on her neck, what I thought was a lump from maybe a Blackberry thorn (she cruises a field of them) festering. Took her to the Vet and told him my thoughts on what in might be, so he gave her a hit of Antihisamines (sp?) whereas it came down. Two days later it came back twice the size, so in he went to remove and do a biopsy.....Mast Cell Cancer,,,,,stage II. Do not fall asleep on this one. Keep a close eye out. Mast Cell is extremely aggressive,,and can grow quickly,, still can't believe it literally sprouted overnight...

Hopefully this isn't the case with Chino. Fingers and paws crossed that all turns out well.
