Okay, I have given my dogs glucosamine and chondroitin for forever. Well, I read somewhere that chondroitin shouldn't be given to dogs only glucosamine with MSM.
Then, I also found a product that only had a higher level of chondroitin (the source was sea cucumbers) and no glucosamine. So, I was wondering if giving higher levels of chondroitin could be better than giving glucosamine and chondroitin combined.
Then I also wondered what the best sources of glucosamine are. I know most human glucosamine is sourced from shellfish(lobster, crab, shrimp, crayfish). Someone told me that they didn't know if crayfish was a good source or not.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!!
