Has she had bloodwork and x-rays done? Puppies should be ravenous, and if they aren't, its rarely stubborness, but because they don't feel good!

It sounds like she may have parvo. Has she been back to the vet??

you need to get back to the vet. Have them run a full blood panel, test for Parvo and do an x-ray. Tell them that she is still not eating the a/d.

Puppies just don't stop eating.

do it today. It's Friday and bad things can happen over the weekend.

You should insist they draw her blood (this is not a blood transfusion) and run a blood panel

I honestly think you need to find a different vet, and have the parvo snap test run.
If it's parvo she'll be dead by tomorrow.

Dairy and Gatorade is not a good idea!

Start calling vets. Ask about CareCredit. Call your local Humane Society or SPCA - ask about low-cost vet care in your area.

Start borrowing money from your friends - offer interest.

I know, huh? Gatorade has too much salt in it for humans, let alone puppies.
Just water would be fine, if she could keep it down.
The vomiting, lethargy and refusal to eat are key symptoms of parvo.

Where are you located?

If nothing else for the time between now and a new vet pedialyte is a good choice. With both my parvo pups this was recommended.

poor baby.

Time for a second opinion... if it didn't work the first time, trying the same thing (force feeding) a different way isn't going to help. If you asked for something to try at home, thats a reasonable answer, but if you asked to get some tests done I'd be livid they sent you to the grocery store.

Expect to spend $250 for the diagnostics and care she needs at a reputable veterinarian. If she's been this sick this long, she needs x-rays or bloodwork at a minimum, possibly hospitalization.

And just for the record...MissK actually is a veterinarian...so if I were to take anyone's advice; I would certainly give hers due consideration.

The symptoms sound like parvo which is common for puppies specially for litters that are being sold on craigslist.
Boil some chicken breast then take the skin out and give her the chicken by hand she should usually eat it.
But make sure you get a parvo test.

If the parvo test comes back neg, I suggest asking the vet for an appetite stimulant and an antacid. Did wonders when I had a cat the refused to eat (I know, I know... totally different, but...). It helped her keep the food down we were getting into her and by the time she figured out how to spit the food in the syringe out, her tummy had fixed whatever was wrong and she got her appetite back.

When my puppy had parvo, our first tip-offs were extreme lethargy (pull him off the couch and he would lay down immediately), refusal to eat (not even a chicken nugget!), and a very high fever (I put him on my lap and he overheated me... I couldn't even hold him). We caught ours early (Thank God!!!), but after the few days you've been having problems, you should see some severe symptoms at this point if it's parvo.

Please, please get the test. It takes all of 3 minutes and is very easy to do.

I hate to hear about sick babies. Been there and it's murder. Update when you can, please.
