coughing or inward sneezing.

Postby ilovedenalintitan » Wed Jan 20, 2010 5:04 pm

Titan and Denali have never done this before. When they play really hard they make this weird coughing sound which I think is inward sneezing but they have never done this before. It isn't always when they play either. They do this throughout the day. Im unsure what to do about it. Also, weird question but Titan is starting to pee over where Denali is. Is this normal?

Both behaviors are normal...

the reverse sneeze can sometimes seem almost like an attack, but its normal unless they do it until they have trouble walking/breathing etc.

Yes both are normal! My oldest girl Missy has been doing it all her life. At 1st I was like whats going on!! But shes 11years old now, and still does it. Its like a bacjwards sneeze or something like

I have 5 pits. When Kelsey a girl goes and pees, Missy and Roman(male) will go and pee right where Kelsey did! Maybe its a dominance issue? The other 2 are almst a year old so they dont do that,,,and the other 3 older dogs dont mess with their pee spots yet. LOL
