Do you all have access to Natures Logic?

Postby Timas Mom » Tue Feb 02, 2010 6:08 pm

I never see it mentioned, never see it in the Whole Dog Journal, and yet they are the only company that dosn't use vitamin-pre-mixes and uses whole foods. They are affco certified by feeding trials. I sell them in my store here in BC, and feel comfortable with it. No recalls either. ( not an allergy dog formula but awesome otherwise)

I really like their kibble ( not that I feed kibble, I feed raw) and their cookies.

Is it too expensive? Not available ? Whats the scoop I'm missing out on?

I can't get any good foods locally but can't see I have seen it at the out of town feed store we buy from. I have fed the canned to my cat, she only ate it if I added water to it. Is it expensive? Cost is a big factor for us since everything has to be either shipped in or driven 1.5 hours one way to buy.

Well here in Langley BC its along the same price as Orijen.
I like that it uses millet instead of potato and no artificial vitamins and minerals.

I just was curious if it wasn't popular or if there was something bad I wasn't aware of? I never read of it and its american.

I've been feeding Orijen for over a year and I LOVE orijen, that being said, I was chatting with the owner of a natural pet store here locally and she told me about Nature's Logic today and she swears by it! Wondering if anyone else feeds it? She said she sells a ton of it and is the #1 retailer in Oregon of Nature's Logic.

Millet is lower on the glycemic index.
Also just like some people's arthritic issues can be aggravated by potatoes, so can dogs.

I've had quite a few clients switch from Orijen to Natures Logic. They've reported smaller poops and are very happy with the switch. Here in BC Orijen is actually a little pricier!!!

I think I'm going to try this kibble out, after being on Orijen/Acana for the past 2 years, I'm ready to switch kibbles and this brand is in my top 3 to try!

Too many ingredients for my super sensitive pup.

Also, I thought chicken fat was no good? I only looked at the venison and duck/salmon...saw it in both.

chicken fat is a specified fat source.
Why would chicken fat be a bad thing?

I just bought 2 bags of the 26# chicken kibble for $44 each! I can't wait to try it for the dogs! I'm sold.
