Water therapy recommendations for Seattle, WA?

Postby MrClean » Tue Feb 23, 2010 2:05 pm

Hey all -
Anyone have any water therapy recommendations for the Seattle area? Cody will be having TPLO surgery on Thursday and will therefore need rehab in a couple of weeks time. I'm trying to look around now to find a good and lower-cost one in case we need it.

Thanks!

There's the Animal Wellness Center in Bellevue. http://www.holistic-pet-care.com/ I've called them before about my Border Collie with hip dysplasia. If I remember correctly, I believe they said the initial consultation was $98. It wouldn't hurt to call.

It's really easy to get to, lots of free parking. It is in the Bellewood Office complex off of 112th.

Heavenly Pet Spa out in Fall City is THE BEST. Have Claire work your dog out. I live in Snohomish and went them every week with Emmitt before he died. Claire taught Coal how to swim and I take them there in the winter for self swim just b/c. It's an in ground actual pool... not those tiny little 'endless pools' everyone else has. You won't regret it!

Thanks! I'll check those out. The one I found was WellSprings in West Seattle:

Haven't heard much about them, but one of the folks from the rescue used them.
