Advantix dosage for smaller dog than tube allows

Postby doglove » Sun May 30, 2010 8:58 am

I've been buying Frontline Plus 'big dog' and breaking it down into smaller portions for cats according to a vets recommendation. It's very very cheap and lasts for forever.

Someone just sold me a box of Advantix, over 55, for cheap because their dog passed away. I can use it on Briar and Cole, but Shelby weighs a whopping 35 lbs. Anyone know the correct dosage for her weight? I tried calling several vet offices to find out but no one carries Advantix and couldn't tell me.

PS I am aware that it is highly toxic to cats. I plan on keeping the dogs and cats separate until it's safe.

the package for 21-55 lbs shows 0.084 fl (2.5 ml)
i use frontline the same way, it helps so much with the expense especially since we moved to tickville.
