Oh no!!! What changed??? I'm so very sorry...

It's hard to describe but I will do my best. It looks like one of her legs falls asleep. All of the sudden one of her back legs would slowly go limp. Then at the ER it was happening to one of her front legs; she would go to stand up and her one leg would not work. It only lasts a few seconds; she seems either dazed or confused for a second but then is totally back to normal. Oh, and we suspect that the first of these 'episodes' occurred Tuesday night. I was standing on the floor and she was sitting on edge of the bed next to me and all of the sudden she just fell off the bed. She jumped back up on the bed before I could even react. That night we had just given her a Benadryl so we chalked it up to her being doped up, but now we wonder if one her front legs went out.

She has not had it happen at all since Wednesday nor has she had the breathing problems we thought were laryngeal paralysis.

I'm very sorry to read this.

For what it's worth, Xanny had what the vets felt was likely an inoperable brain tumor about 6 years ago. I wound up, at my conventional vet's suggestion, turning to a homeopath. Truly he saved her life, and she was in awful shape by the time we saw him.
