Age and Muscle Definiton

Postby Ntchwaidumela » Thu Dec 16, 2010 12:02 am

Hello Fellow PBF members-

APBTs are stereotypically well defined, tight, well fit athletic dogs. But as they age (espeicially those in their teens) do they slowly lose their muscle definition and begin to look smooth or will they keep their fit look as long as they continue to receive lots of excercise and a great diet?

Thanks to all those who respond

Happy Holidays,
N :peace:

Gypsy will soon be 11 and she has nearly all of her muscle definition as yet. We shall see what happens in the next couple of ears.

I noticed that Maya lost some of hers as she aged mostly near the end. Could have been from over feeding. But she was ripped when younger.

I can already see Lucy getting defined especially in the leg area. She is about 9 weeks.

Aging and muscle definition also depends on genetics to a degree.
