6 weeks

Postby LouDiamondz » Fri Feb 18, 2011 2:48 am

so my new young pup Buddah is 6 weeks n some days old.
Im feeding him 1 n 1/4 cups of Blue Buffalo 3 times a day.
After each feeding he seems to still be hungry, he looks around his bowl as if he wants more.
Do i stick to what im giving him or can he have a little bit more? :hi help? lol

Feed him whatever he wants to eat 3 times a day unless he starts to get fat...

Are his parents over 50 pounds? If so, make sure you are feeding the large breed formula.

Prior to 16 weeks they are growing so quickly its really hard to overfeed them. At 16 weeks decrease to twice daily, and if you can't see the last 2 ribs, start measuring.

Start measuring and restricting food at the time of spay/neuter, or 6-7 months, whichever comes first.

YES CREEPY!!

When my Piper was a pup, he threw the worms up on my bedroom floor. One of the absolute grossest dog moments I've had in my life!
