We have to keep all the windows closed, exhaust fans on in the bathrooms, over the oven. TV as loud as we can stand it.

Get some favorite treats and try to distract with those. Make her do tricks for them to distract her thoughts away from the fireworks.

Put her in an area of the house that might be more protected from sounds and play some calm music (classical, possibly one instrument, if you have it) at a fairly decent level. The music can mask the fireworks sounds a little, depending on how close they are. Cotton balls in the ears can help, just make sure they are of a good size and they are not pushed too far into the ear canals. The dog might shake them off but it does not hurt to try, just be very gentle abut it.
With that, please wrap a t-shirt or towel around her body (tight on chest area, shoulder and under the belly) and swaddle her. It might sound odd to hear but there is a reason for it. Don't leave her to deal with it alone. You could also load her in the car and take her somewhere else, where the sounds are too as strong, if there is such an area.

 I feel for her. Our girl used to do the same.

Here is a link for the Thundershirt, I know you don't have one now but it will give the concept/purpose of it. That is why Red mentioned getting a T-shirt, etc. and tightening it around her.

Melatonin can help, too, if you have some on hand. Same kind people take, you can give a 3mg tablet. I just tried this yesterday. B was doing some stress panting and not falling asleep, just awake in bed panting because after the big firework show ended, the local firecrackers from the neighbors went on and on, but the Melatonin totally helped. After it kicked in, when loud ones went off in our neighborhood he would perk up and look around a but and then settle, which is his usual reaction to infrequent noises.

I have never tried a Thundershirt, but I would try a DIY version if I were you, like Red outlined, can't hurt and I have heard the Thundershirts and similar wraps can be really helpful.

I also close the curtains, big flashes of light probably don't help. Some music and keeping her in one safe room may help, if she is flailing and running all over in panic that just seems like it accentuates the problem.

Hope you guys stay safe and she is able to settle a little bit.

Hope your pup made it through the night okay.

We've been recommending the thunder shirt to everyone lately and have had nothing but good reviews!

Is your pup OK? Some of us worried about her last night. Let us know.

I'm glad she is ok. I have heard good things about the Thundershirt.
