Today, Stanley had her surgery to remove the round cell tumor, and it went well :yipee:
I stayed until the surgery was done, and then went home. I just picked her up, and she doesn't look like a happy camper. She is in a lot of pain, so tonight will be a marathon movie night :)

Thanks to all for the advice, and I will keep you posted. I will know the result on Monday, after they do the biopsy on the tumor.

Great on the surgery!

If she seems like she's in a lot of pain, I'd suggest calling your vet to double-check on pain meds and doses. Post-surgery pain can and should be controlled. It probably can't be completely eliminated, but I hope your vet gave you post=surgery pain meds (we've usually been given rimadyl and tramadol after surgery on our pit bulls, but different vets use different protocols. Just make sure your vet and you are acting as a team to control her pain).

Today, I got the test result back from the biopsy on Stanley's tumor. It is a benign tumor :yay:
She is doing well, and is no longer in pain. She has been on pain medication and antibiotics.

Thanks for all the well wishes :)
