I don't know how you guys can do this day in and day out - I'd rather feed outside. I feed Charlie puppy in his crate when we babysat and it was a drag to clean it out twice a day.....

Cut up both of those items when they are mostly frozen. MUCH easier and less messy.
Have you been reading b/c neither heart nor liver are appropriate "starter" foods. I suggest chicken, typically leg quarters.
