Buddy needs good vibes please!

So after months of not having to take Buddy in for ANY health issues at all, she's gone and done it again.

The dogs boarded this weeked at the clinic where I worked. I picked them up yesterday (Sunday). Buddy had terrible gas all night! Strange, since at the clinic they gave fed Hills i/d (a gastro diet). In the middle of the night, Buddy whined to go out, which is not unusual for her in her old age, so I didn't think anything of it. Then this morning she ate well and seemed normal but she had diarrhea.

I asked my sister in law to come let her out at lunch, no poop, nothing strange at all.

Darryl beat me home and had the dogs outside before I got there. I went downstairs to feed the cats and immediately could smell urine. I assumed it was Obi, and started looking for his urine puddle. When I walked into the room where their crates are, her bed was soaked! (RIP cushy dog bed...)

Since then she's been straining and straining and straining to urinate until I drag her inside. She wouldn't eat her dinner without a massive amount of coaxing. I called one of the vets I work with to make sure she could wait until morning to be seen, gave her some tramadol to see if that helps make her more comfortable, and keep chasing her with a water bowl trying to get her to drink more. I'm hoping that this is a simple UTI but the paranoid freak in me is already panicking about kidney disease, pyelonephrits or worse.

On top of everything, she has a lump on her belly that we've done unsuccessful FNA's on several times that felt bigger when I gave her a bath tonight.

Ughhhh. This dog has been through SO much in the past year. We could really use all your good thoughts. Praying this is something simple... :pray

oh no! I hope she and you both feel better soon, and I hope it turns out to be nothing serious. Let us know what the vet says.

This morning she is three legged lame on her hind leg. I had to carry her downstairs and into the car. She is clearly feeling incredibly lousy although I did get her to eat breakfast after I mixed in some yogurt.

We are on our way to the clinic. Please keep sending your good vibes to her. This dog means everything to me.

So far we've found a raging UTI. We've started her on antibiotics but since the urine was so bad, we are also doing a culture and sensitivity.

Her lump looks like a lipoma (thank god!)

Can't find any cause for the lameness. It's the same leg that has the old ACL injury but that has been table since I got her. Her is painful on palladium of her proximal femur so we snapped an xray. It didn't show anything definitive but there is an area that looks "mottled" so to be safe, we are sending then to a radiologist to have a look.

Crossing our fingers and toes!

Lameness is better now but still not 100%. radiologist couldn't find any reason for it so I assume that it's just a flare up of an old injury.

Waiting now for culture results. We have seen alot of cases of MRSP here lately so I really hope that's not what it is.
