Feeding?

I was wondering, can I still give raw bones to the dogs during the week?

I feed the dogs Royal Canin, morning and night except on Tuesday and Saterday when they get Royal Canin in the morning and a chicken carcass at night. There also getting pet mince in there kongs.

So, can I still give them bones once a week or every second week?. I'm worried I'll be over feeding them but I like giving them there bones here and there.

You need to watch your own dogs. If they're gaining too much weight, cut back or exercise more. A raw bone here and there really shouldn't make a difference .

It depends on if there's a lot of meat or bone marrow on the bones. If it's mostly bone and they aren't ingesting a lot of marrow from the center, I wouldn't worry about it.

Marrow and meat are what packs on the pounds - the rest is for cleaning teeth.
