What does she need that ONLY a jugular catheter can provide? What about peripheral veins, or an intraosseous catheter? Blood transfusions, plasma transfusions, dextrose and pain medications are all safe to be given through these other catheter choices.
It just seems like overkill when less expensive options are available and you've reached the point of mortgaging your home to do this...
