Bentleys vet visit

Hey guys, I brought Bentley to the vet today because he has been making sort of a wheezing noise...I immediately thought kennel cought and wanted to nip it in the butt before it became any worse. Well turns out that he makes those strange noises because he is nervous! Has anyone ever heard of this? will it go away? I thought it was very strange. But on the plus side he put on four pounds and is a very healthy little pup!

Yeah sort of, its pretty hard to describe it.
It sounded like he was like coughing almost...I dunno, i guess i was just being nervous haha

"Backword Sneezing" is what I've heard it called. I've heard of people saying it's because of nerves, but never if there was any validity toward it...

Also called reverse sneezing. Its a common reason for first time dog owners to rush their new puppy to the ER.

thanks guys! He seems to only do it when he gets nervous and given his past its understandable. I am just relieved that hes not sick! Hes the first dog Ive taken home from the shelter that has been healthy! I guess i was just expecting the worst
