My first thought was histiocytoma - but let's wait to hear what the resident vet people think.

Wiggy had an appt this morning.
It is a histiocytoma, and the Dr wants to remove it.

I don't want to sedate her at her age. She is a senior. We recently had a blood panel done this year and everything is fine.

Is it necessary to have these removed? Can they be treated and heal on their own?

Histiocytomas are rare in dogs over the age of 4. If she is a senior, I would have it removed, and sent in for histopathology to confirm the diagnosis.

It was removed today, along with 2 of her front incisors that were loose. She is up, and doing well. Luckily my sister works at this clinic and has been able to monitor her.
I was worried about putting her under bc she seems to have labored breathing when resting. We've mentioned it before and he said she was fine.

She's my heart dog. My first pit bull experience. She is 1/2 pit 1/2 boxer, and just has such a sweet personality. She really is sooo loving and graceful. It's ridiculous how gentle she is for her size.
I'll keep you updated on what the results are and her progress!
