Xrays - Hips & Elbows

We got Sadie all done up today.
Eyes, heart, and patellas checked out great. I'll have to wait for the verdict on the hips and elbows. But I got the xrays!
I really have no idea how to interpret them. Obviously I'll get the final word sometime soonish, but anyone have any thoughts on them while I wait?

They look good to me, but I'm not in the least bit qualified. I could post Dakota's for comparison if you'd like. Maybe if they look similar that's a good sign

In ultrasound we scan human baby hips (the new born variety) looking for signs of, well, basically hip dysplasia. I know having at least 50% of the hip in the socket is a good thing. I also know to look for a smooth contour but that's where my knowledge stops

That's pretty much all I know, that and looking at the length of the femoral neck.

I am not a vet but from all the research I have done on hip dysplasia she looks really good. Her sockets are nice and round and the joint looks to be in there firmly.

Hips look fine, should come back as "Fair" or "Good" from the OFA. I can't tell with elbows.

Yeah, the gal who brought her back out to me said they were fine. I didn't ask, she just mentioned it as she handed the leash over.

Did you get your xray pics?

Ah okay, they didn't say anything about Mr. Wobbly's patellas. Just wanted to make sure I didn't misplace any paperwork.

I agree! Sadie won't be bred (she is spayed) but I wanted to make sure she was healthy to compete in these high impact sports she loves so much.
