the only thoughts I have is that when I compare Sadie's hip xray with Apollo's hip xray ... Sadie has a badonkadonk booty! lol

How's he feeling?

I don't know how to read elbows at all. Hips look decent-good, though the one on the left is harder to see. I am no expert, however. Was your vet happy?

I showed both apollo's and Sadie's xrays to one of the radiologists that I work with to see what his thoughts were. He is obviously more used to the human anatomy and not do much the doggy variety but the hip anatomy is quite similar. He thought they both looked pretty good! The anatomy of the elbows differs enough he didn't want to offer much commentary on that.

Working with docs sure can have its advantages sometimes

This was done at a big health check event. They didn't offer much info on the xrays. Just said we would hear back from ofa by mail

Yep.

I am having my vet look over them tomorrow so we will see what she has to say :)

Any idea how long it takes to get your OFA grades back?

Somewhere around a month, if I recall, but you can call and get them a bit sooner.

Vet said the elbows look good but when I emailed the X-Ray of the hips it came through too blurry for her to asses. So I am getting the image on a CD for her.

It took like 5 weeks for me to get my ratings back from OFA but it was worth the wait for me :)

It depends with OFA. I think they do them in batches. I have had them back as quickly as 2 weeks and as long as 5 weeks.
The hips look good or fair to me. My husband is the expert with those. LOL! Either way, the dog looks good enough to work. I don't see any cavitation or looseness.

awesome hips!

I stink at elbows so will not comment. I send those to a radiologist, and sometimes they will even say the dog needs a CT to know for sure...
