I really like natural balance. I've never heard of health extension.

Natural Balance is a limited ingredients diet. Are you looking into NatBal because of allergies? NatBal wouldn't be my first pick because i like to see the first 3 ingredients as meat unless there is an allergies that prevents that. If i remember correctly NatBal is meat meal (which is fine) then goes to brown rice then white rice thats too much rice in there IMO. I dont know anything about Health Extrension so im no help there.

If you are interested in a good food check out Taste of the Wild, Go! natural, acana/orijen.

Thanks for all the help everyone, My female gets very bad allergies the vet said it was environmental dermatitis and she been on and off antibiotics but i switched to Holistic Health extension and everything cleared up and she been fine. My friend works at a clinic and he can get me the natural balance for a discounted price so i was thinking about switching just wanted to get a few opinions

Eh, from my experience with foods and allergies....stick to what is working. It isn't worth switching it up.

X2

I fed NB a couple of the LID formulas. My boy did well on it for a while, but I think they switched something in the formula cause then he started doing horrible on it! He is on raw now and doing great.

I agree to stay with what is working. Thor has been on Natural Balance Venison and Sweet Potato for years with no problem...they even just added peas and he is fine. He was a complete wreck for almost a year prior to the switch to NB.
