Dr. Steve Anderson is the vet who'll do the surgery .She is under Zoey "Foster".I am bringing her in tomorrow morning and she should be able to be operated on in the afternoon.Zoey wants to thank everyone, whether it is nice words her way or else.

She's so happy in that Video, it took everything I had not to start bawling, amazing how that support cast is helping so much.

It is the same supporting bandaging she will come out of surgery with, for the two weeks post op. They did it for her so that she would not be uncomfortable til the day she was scheduled for euthanasia. She had the same "cast" after her first surgery:

I'm so excited I skipped some posts -- I think you are doing this already - if the vet's office can stand the calls/emails I think that is BEST over ChipIn and the like sine they don't charge any use fees.

This kind of thing is so hard because this isn't a nameless shelter dog - we have gotten to know her, laughed at her pictures, etc. It is so need to see and be a part of something like this when we all come together this way - very heartwarming and deserved IMHO. Val, you rock for even taking on those 2 dogs in the first place and even more so for sticking with Zoey!! How can we get her courtesy listed on MORE rescue sites???

Paypal doesn't charge any use fees if you mark it as a "gift."

Paypal doesn't charge any use fees if you mark it as a "gift."

I think it depends on how each person has their PayPal set up. I do not tie a bank account to PP so I did pay a small fee for the transfer - it lets you choose whether you want the recipient or yourself to pay the transaction fee and it doesn't matter if it's a gift or goods/services.

I used PayPal this a.m. and when I was going to do it through my credit card it wanted to charge a fee, but I linked in my bank account and then the fee went away. Must be their service charge for going through credit cards.
