PLEASE HELP!!! Skin Issue out of nowhere!

It has been a while since i have posted, Vega is now 2 years old and turned into the best friend i could ever have.

over the last month i have noticed him losing hair just on either side of his tail, and sometimes i think hes losing hair on his sides as well. Then today i come home and he has a bright red rash on his neck, its not oozing or scabbing, just bright red. It doesnt seem to bother him but its freaking me out really bad. He is on the same food as always (taste of the wild salmon) and nothing else has changed period so its making it really hard for me to figure out what this is.

any info would be greatly appreciated. thank you all so much.

it really could be anything... I would get him into the vet.

agreed it could be anything.

Flower gets Staph infections like clockwork and looses fur on her tail. Then we get 'Happy Tail' and now that we know it is easier to fix it. It took a few visits before we figured it out.
