Old dog vestibular disease?

This is very common, we see a case about every other week at the ER.

Some dogs just need time and TLC, other dogs need hospitalized for padded walls and hand-feeding for a few days. I always recommend giving them at least 2-3 days before becoming concerned about quality of life because 98% of them will resolve on their own with nothing more than supportive care.

Glad to hear Mooches is doing better! Sounds like with some TLC he should be ok. Having old dogs is not easy!

Update: He's definitely 100% or as close as a thirteen year old dog can get. He was really moving out on our walk tonight, climbing hills and only a little slow after 45 mins of walking. I sure do appreciate him more after our scare though.
