Kidney Infection

So I just got home from work and Piper was still wimpering and acting funny. She was kind of hunched over, ears flat, lip licking,and just looked stressed and in pain.She didn't want me to touch her hip area. I gave her the metacam at 12:00 so I was thinking that the pain would have went away by the time I got home. Well she went outside, pooped, and started acting normal! She even wanted to fetch. Yesterday before we went into the vet clinc she pooped as well than the vet couldn't recreate her pain. Is this related to her kidney infection? They did xrays the first time we went in and everything looked ok.

Was her poop normal?

Yes, a normal poop. Color was a little off but i think it's from medicine. The one before the vet visit was a little loose but that is tottaly normal for Piper. She gets a little carsick.

It sounds like she had a painful abdomen and the bowel movement relieved the pain.

I hope shes back to 100% soon!

Could the meds be constipating her?
