Cue panic, what is going on with ashes' heel?

Postby Otis » Wed Oct 23, 2013 6:18 pm

So between buying my first house, moving, quitting my job, and stressing about ashes emotional health, I missed this one.

Her heal is swollen and squishy. I can squish this around with my fingers and it makes her nervous but she doesn't do her normal yelp, or even struggle/air snap like she does when she is extremely uncomfortable.

She's been wobbly and uncoordinated lately, I've attributed it to old age and arthritis, but she's been stumbling more, loosing her balance. Energy wise she's normal and I wish shed slow down like her body is trying to tell her to.

Vet appointment will be made tomorrow, but i guess I'm just begging for some kind of peace of mind or else I'll be up all night worrying in circles telling myself "cancer, cancer, cancer"

Please excuse my misuse of heel. I'd like some healing going on though.

it could just be an irritation... perhaps a bite from a spider? Look closely, is there a bite mark visible?

Lipoma maybe? Good luck at the vet's, I hope it's not anything major.
