Nova's pupil is RESTRICTED and she's babying that eye

We went to the lake last sunday, but her eye was fine until this wed. morning when she started scratching it. I didn't think anything of it, since she does that sometimes to get the sleepies out.

She's keeping that eye shut and the pupil is really tiny, even when we open her eye and keep it open for a little while.

Should I be worried ? Because I am.

Oh, yes, I would be terribly worried. Call your vet and see what they say - if you haven't already, of course.

I hope she's OK!

Oooh, I hope she's ok too. I'd make a vet call right away.

We washed her eye out with water and took a wet cloth to it .. she's not babying her eye anymore (only here and there for a min or so) and the pupil is starting to dilate. She must've scratched it this morning and all she needed was some time and some TLC to fix her right up.
She's such a trooper !

Cool. I would use a cold cloth not hot. Try to keep any swelling down if she did scratch it.......

lol chris (my SO) always keeps me calm .. he told me to wait a few hours..
Turns out it's 10:30pm and her eye is perfectly fine. I just kept putting a cool cloth on her eye for a couple minutes every hour or so. I was scared though.

Thanks everyone :)

Same thing happened to Stitch awhile back. I was worried like crazy too. But it went away after 2hrs. I think he was playing rough with a dog and the dog knocked him in the head or somethin.
