my dog's a fish!

Just spent the day at the family pool with the new pup, and she LOVED the pool and all the people. I was very pleased with her amidst all the confusion.

My other dogs hated it.

So i was wondering if Chlorinated pool water is bad for my pup. Does anyone have a fish for a dog? and will prolonged swimming mess with their skin or anything?

I would hose her off afterwards to make sure all the chlorene is gone, just to prevent skin irritation. Connor got the runs from drinking too much pool water, but no real harm.

My baby is definitly a fish as well. He loves to go swimming at the lake and I also have a baby wading pool in the back yard that he loves to wallow in. I have seen no skin problems b/c of his water love but then I don't have chlorine.

My girl LOVES to swim. We went swimming all day on saturday and she is still in bed from the exercise!!! I love it too, so it's kinda cool to have another buddy in the water with me.
