CUTS

My doggie recently got bit and has a scratch on the inside and outside or her ear, but not deep or big enough for stitches. Best remedy is like humans keep it cleaned, daily washing with warm water & soap. You can use hydrogen peroxide to clean it out and small amount of neosporin like humans. If you notice infection with severe swelling than consult with your Vet. :)

Also, only use hydrogen peroxide for the initial cleaning. If you continue to use hydrogen peroxide after that, you will remove all of the repair-work that the body has created, and thus prolong the duration of a raw wound and increase the risk of infection. (Same applies to human beings)

Use hydrogen peroxide for the first cleaning and then use betadine for maintanance.
