Actually, rice is often the cause of allergy skin issues. [Not all dogs have this problem but mine does.]

Please read and search the forum for food topics. You will learn so much more that way. Food is THE most popular topic around here, you will have plenty to read.

Raw is best.

Baring that something with no corn and no to very little rice and other grain, high in animal content (high quality kibbles).

Nature's Variety is a very good kibble, and not as expensive as some of the more premium ones...I had awesome results when I fed it. Canidae is also a good food and very moderately priced. Any variety of the Nature's Variety, or Canidae formulas.

I won't say it's bad, but it's definitely not good! You paid way too much for a bag of corn, essentially. Corn is a cheap, mostly undigestable filler and a common allergen for dogs, especially bully breeds.

Sorry, it is bad for them. I wouldn't feed it for the reasons BellaBlue stated, among others.

If you are going to settle for Science Diet, why don't you try Canidae? It is widely available and considered to be one of the best kibbles. It is also quite affordable.

Well if you want to see a lousy coat, keep feeding Hills. I fed it years ago and my dog constantly itched, shedded, and had hot spots. As soon as I took her off it, she was fine.

You can go to any website, via a Google.com search for the dog food brand name and see if they have a 'store locator' or 'where to buy' section. You can then plug in your zip or area code and see who carries it near you. It's much easier than us guessing where you live and what's close to you.

Tons of good pet stores (NOT PETSMART!) carry the brands of food you are being recommended. A Google search takes no time at all to find the info on every brand of food out there.

Check out this thread.

Science Diet has approximately zero meat in it, and almost all allergeans. :(
