Health Testing

I know that in most large dogs you should have their hips checked, and I have heard you should have their hearts checked but what else should a dog be health checked for. I see this issue brought up alot.

In APBTs & AmStafs, the MINIMUM should be hips, elbows, and cardiac. Anything less is being blatantly irresponsible.

Are we talking about tests before a breeding? Or tests just to check up on a dog's health?

I'm refering to potential breeding dogs.
