Oh yeah - and what is this garlic thing? I do not know of this - if you have time- someone fill me in.

Katch, garlic is a natural repellant for fleas and ticks.

In the past I've used revolution during flea season. I like it because it doesn't wear/wash off the way Advantage did (I used to use that), and it kills/prevents fleas, ticks, lice, and sarcoptic mites, and prevents heartworm, hookworm, and roundworms. My dogs have had no ill effects.

This is the first year my dogs have been on BARF (it'll be a year since I started in a week or so), and I haven't needed any flea control this year. The only thing that's different is their diet, Chilliwack is a flea haven, so I'm really surprised they haven't got 'em. I don't feed garlic, so I'm not sure what it is about their diet that's keeping them flea free, but I like it :thumbsup:

I think healthier dogs are less susceptible to parasites all-around.
