yikes, that's a huge scar! no idea what a c-section scar would look like, but you think maybe it could be a bowel-obstruction surgery type scar?

Ventral midline... without vet records there's no way of knowing why that was done. Whatever it was, that didn't heal so hot...

It looks like a really big spay scar to me, but I've never seen a c-section scar. A good way to figure out if its a spay scar: Has she ever come into heat?

she has been spayed but that big scar is not the spay scar, i will show you the spay scar in my next post.

it looks like two scars to me and the number 2 is the spay scar. IMO but i am guessing but it really looks like two seperate scars. I have never seen a spay scar that big.

Georgia had a long incision for her spay. There were compications and the vet opened her up more. The scar , although long, is not very visible as it healed nicely.
I have no idea what that scar could be...my first guess would have been spay also, but seeing the diagram pic, I now have no clue.

I would say that number 1 is the spay scar.
No the ninnies do not looked used, so maybe it is from a spay/abort. If it was a late term abort, the scar would be longer - like it is..?

#2 looks like her bellybutton to me, it's pretty high to be a spay scar.
I agree that #1 could be a spay/abort-- or intestinal obstruction.
Piper's scar from his bloat surgery looks similar to this one, but his is much larger and looks much worse (they didn't think about the cosmetics of it, because they really didn't think he would ever wake up after surgery).

I also think #2 is a bellybutton.

My vote is for #2 as a belly button and #1 as a spay scar. If she was spayed as an adult the scar would be a long one. Terri had a spay/abort and she has a long scar like that but also has some loose extra skin on either side of the scar-which I like to squeeze

They were actually probably trying to wake him up as fast as possible so he would have a better chance of survival. I'm glad to hear he made it through!!!

No, really, they didn't think he'd make it off the table. I was helping out with the entire surgery.
