Hey everyone..Super Chicken had an operation....

Well I have been not on as much Samson just had to have major surgery last weekend.

As the vet was checking him, you know the physical exam they do, brought him in for his bortadella shot.. the vet found a HUGE hemoglophen in his ear.

It was so far down, you would really have to look for it, easy NOT to notice. This was the same day I had to place some of my ducks due to my a hole neighbor (in misc threads). They then told us they wanted to keep "Super Chicken" as they call him, he is a big wimp for a "dangerous" dog, ( my vet has his own opionions about BSL) over the weekend.

He is back home now and has to have a daily ear wash and on two kinds of meds. While the bill was "reasonably" costly, they did not charge us for the extra days for him to stay. AND some of you remember that huge mole he had on his chest? They removed it for FREE.

He did good and didnt freak out as he hates to be away from me my vet says he is "sensitive" when it comes to me. I was worried about him being gone for two days.

He was sooo happy when my husband brought him home, it was funny. He did his baying thing, then ran up to my daughter, gave her a one lick, licked the sh-- out of me, then would not leave Lady alone.

And then, grabbed my accent pillows and ran around the house trotting in pride.

Only thing is we have to "trick" him to take his meds, he hates them.

By the way, ducks are doing great and live in this beautiful place out in the country took pictures and will post them soon.

What a week...

Thanks Kirstan,

Samma is now new and improved Samma, back to his regular weight, no mole and ear boo boo all gone. Thank god we took him in for his other shot at its so easy to put off-.or we would of missed that thing and who knows how big it would of got.

He also passed his "senior test" too :)
