If you can ride out the mange w/out treatment, IMO that's best, because you'll have a better picture of what you're really dealing w/. Since your pup is unpapered, I'm assuming you have no intention of breeding, so no worries there. Really bad mange=a really weak immune system, and chances are your pup will have other problems as well, skin infections, ear infections. Localized mange usually clears by itself by about 8-9 months or so, when the immune system develops. I would want to let the breeder know, because it is inherited.
