luce eats kibble mostly but she gets big fat raw knuckle bones with a good bit of meat on them for recreation. (the days she gets the new bone she doesn't get breakfast, she gets the bone.)

just don't feed raw and kibble in the same meal.

Elegy's right on this one. Using raw meat as a treat is prefectly acceptable.......either in chunks or as RMB's. If you do the raw meaty bones don't feed one meal that day. If there's a lot of meat on it the first time you feed them expect diarrhea.......I'm talking hershey squirts. The look on Garions face the evening he got his first RMB was priceless. By morning his stools were normal. The same thing happened with the first chicken he got. He get's raw everyday just not in quantities like a whole chicken roflmao

Feeding meat in chunks as treats to help their system adust is a perfect way to slowly switch them over. They don't usually react to it badly and adding an extra chunk a day will get them up to a meal size portion in about 5 days.
