I've been researching garlic because I wanted to look into it before giving it to my dog as a flea preventative. My quest was to find something on garlic that has information to back it up. The best I could find on the internet was a study done using livestock. (Sorry about the animal testing - livestock, mice)

On page 70 of it appears a study was done on garlic, and it sounds like good stuff. I plan on looking for the article it referenced at UVM, as I would really like to see it.

On another note, if garlic really works well as an antibiotic I wonder if that is why I haven't heard of but one dog getting sick from the raw food diet. Maybe raw food isn't as bad as I thought, as long as it includes garlic!

:peace: Does anyone else have any good information?

Just be careful with garlic, it is from the same family as the onion and can have the same toxic effects if too much is ingested. ... and%20cats ... ory_no=257
