I've been researching garlic because I wanted to look into it before giving it to my dog as a flea preventative. My quest was to find something on garlic that has information to back it up. The best I could find on the internet was a study done using livestock. (Sorry about the animal testing - livestock, mice)
On page 70 of www.canr.uconn.edu/plsci/AHLH%20SB-Web.pdf it appears a study was done on garlic, and it sounds like good stuff. I plan on looking for the article it referenced at UVM, as I would really like to see it.
On another note, if garlic really works well as an antibiotic I wonder if that is why I haven't heard of but one dog getting sick from the raw food diet. Maybe raw food isn't as bad as I thought, as long as it includes garlic!
Does anyone else have any good information?
