Poor Quiggley

Postby sam » Wed Nov 29, 2006 9:00 pm

He got neutered on Saturday, and spent the whole night cuddled in my arms whining. I assumed it was because he is a wimp, but this is what I woke up to...

His cute face and a very swollen underside

We rushed to the vets to see what was wrong (me being completely freaked out!). He looks to have a probable blood clotting disorder. He is healing up ok, but man does he look miserable. We were supposed to get blood tests to find the cause today, but with the snow I've put up for the vet visit until tomorrow.

So think good thoughts for Mister Quiggley because a clotting disorder isn't much fun.

Oh poor puppy! :crybaby: I just brought toby home from the vet today from being spayed. As soon as I saw those pics I ran to check her tummy! I hope everything goes ok and he's feeling better soon.

AWE!!! Poor guy!!!

Try alternating hot and cool packs (gently) so help the bruising resolve. Be careful not to cause any more bruising by using too much pressure.

I mean Quiggley! Toby Two Toes is the name of our little possum friend who I was just evicting from the recycle bin again. I tend to screw up when I am typing and trying to manage wildlife at the same time...

Allthough he won't be coming to stay with me, he sort of feels kinda mine anyway so give him lots of hugs and kisses from me!

Feel better, Quiggley!

Awwww...poor Quigley! That happened to Clifford too when he got neutered. He healed up just fine with lots of rest and scritches. *hint hint*

Give him some love from my crew.
