When is it common for pups to have their first red rocket?

Talk about diets, exercise, and disease.

I dunno if this is off topic, but in reference to the "red rocket stories" called in to the various offices in which some of you are employed...

My friend has an Unaltered Neo-Bordeaux Mastiff. And they had just gotten home from work(2am), and the big boy was laying on his back sighing, and panting, and yes indeedy the "knot" was coming into view. Well, she [my friend] was freaked out! She had her boyfriend call the vet (read call the vet stoned) to report this anomaly. All the while, she is rubbing his tummy to "try to calm him down" and he was panting hard, and they had NO CLUE what was in store next.

Well, lets just say... Bukaki anyone? (is bukaki ok to say in this forum?)

Yes indeed. She found out the very "hard" way what it means when the "Knot" is unraveled.

I can't imagine what the Emergency vet said or thought when they indicated that he no longer had said problem by the end of the call.

I know my 8 week old gets them all the time I think its all part of puppy hood. It seems like he could get in the mood staring at a checker board, it doesnt take much to say the least. I hate it when im playing with him it seems like when that comes out all needs to stop it kinda gross
