whats that smell???????????

Postby trdbird » Tue Feb 06, 2007 5:07 pm

my pup is around 6 months and has begun to loose her puppy teeth. she is now on her molars and her breath is rank!!! it doesnt smell like an infection but it definitly doesnt smell like her breath did just last week. i called the vet and they said not to worry unless she isnt eating and maybe drooling excessivly. any opinoins??? she doesnt act like anything is wrong, she just has smelly breath. my other pup didnt have this problem when he was teething so this is a first.

has anyone else had this problem with there pup teething?

thanks

lol....no shes not. they do like to hunt for buried treasures (cat poop) in the yard, but she hasnt done that in a while. it smells more like bloody slobber, which her teeth are bleeding from time to time.

Here is some info on Teething puppieshttp://www.jjspuppylove.com/Teething.html
I don't know much about it but I remember having the bad teething puppy breath a long time ago with a foster pup. But with my pup were not at the teething point just yet.
