Awesome Treat!!!! Check it out.

Postby miette » Wed Mar 28, 2007 3:14 pm

www.dogswell.com

I just got back from the ONLY holistic feed store in town. Coincidentally they also do grooming so Sunny had her first professional grooming today (of course she was a sweetie and everyone loved her). :inlove:

I was browsing the treats and all the other fun stuff they sell. I have her on Blue Buffalo, so I was good for food, but I was mostly interested in all the different treats. I picked her up a bag of dogswell "healthy hips" lamb and rice sticks. All natural, no by-products or additives. A lot of protein and they are fortified w/ glucosamine for her joints. Check out the website.

I just thought I'd tell you that if you email the company they will send you samples :D

Here's some samples of things I've gotten for my puppy:

Zuke's

(yes, you really do see 4 FULL-SIZED bags of dog treats and 2 of cat treats!)

Etta Says!

(The treats are actual pieces of dehydrated chicken, beef, and lamb)

I'm still awaiting the Dogswell, Wellness(OMH), Purina, and Nature's Logic samples. They all said they would send me some for my puppy to try.

Yup! I just emailed them saying that I was getting a puppy and asked if I could try some sampes of their food/treats.

Just include your mailing address in the email to them.

If you guys want I can start up a thread for samples/freebies...Maybe the people in charge will make it into a sticky. :D What do you think?

Actually, I just thought of something better....Here's the problem with making a thread with freebies...everyone will want them! Then, the companies will get upset and will stop sending them :( We don't want that! So here's what I'm going to do:

If anyone wants the "list" then you can PM me your email address and I will email you the list. How does that sound? That way a zillion people don't see it and everyone starts sending the companies emails asking for treats. Also, it will stay within the "Pit Bull Forum" members only and not just anyone out there can see the list. I think that might cause mass chaos. Right?! LOL!

Ok, so if you want the list then just PM me and I will email you the list! :D

But you can't go and post the list anywhere, that would defeat the purpose.

You are sworn to secrecy. LOL! Just kidding ;)

I actually just picked up some of the Mellow Mutt variety Dogswell chicken strips at the feed store on Tuesday. It can be so hard to find GOOD treats. They even use "cage-free" chicken.

I do beleive I'll email Dogswell myself for a freebie.

I have the chicken and beef dogswell healthy heart treats.
I actually got some Lakse salmon treats and some wild side salmon treats.
Both stink so bad, your dog will come RUNNING into the room when you open the bag.

I want some nature's logic stuff, but my local doggy healthfood store doesn't sell it.
Can I email them for a sample of their food?

Yup. That's what I did. You can see all the stuff I got in the picture. I got 3 bags of food samples, 3 bags of treat samples, and a can of wet food(for my cat).

Here's the email address:

info@natureslogic.com

I just asked them if I could try some of their food and treats and also mentioned that I have a cat and asked if I could try a can of their wet food(because of the recall I can't give my cat her other food).

I think I'll hold off e-mailing them for now because my local specialty dog food store is awesome about having samples of different natural and healthy treats. I just haven't been in a little while. I'm gonna remember this thread in a month though. :)
