Blue Buffalo sucks.

What makes you say that?

Well....

I tried every adult formula they have and all gave both of my dogs constant runs, horrible gas, and some hives.

I went into this new pet store that has the good stuff (wellness, canidae, innova, etc - stuff petsmart doesn't have) and the owner told me that everyone that she knows that has fed BB got the same results I did...

She also breeds show quality, temperment tested, sch. I and II GSD, and said that happened to her as well.

So I made the logical deduction that blue buffalo is a no go.

I've heard some dogs thrive on it. So, different dogs do well on different foods. But to say that it's a crap food is unfair.
I have heard some owners say the BB is too rich for their dog, and the food didnt agree with them, as much as they wanted it to.
Though, some people I have spoken to, and have heard of, didnt do a proper transition and blamed it on the food. Not saying this is the case with you, but as a BLUE rep, I hear it all.

A co-worker feeds BB to her three Beagles and they all do excellent on it. They are the softest, shiniest and trim Beagles I have ever seen. On the other hand, I think it is a little over-priced. You can get food as good and better for less money.

I think it's a little pricey myself, and I'm a rep! Though a think the price has to do with where it is being sold. Things at Petsmart can and normally do tend to be a bit pricier than the smaller ma-and-pop stores. They have more to take care of with the income that they get. At least i would assume they do.

If your dogs does well on BB than go for it.

Mine don't, so I label it crappy. It is a decent food, but their are better ones for the money.

Just because your dogs didnt do well on it is no reason to say the food is bad. Snoopy didnt do well (nor did he like) Canidae. I have never said it is a bad food. Nor will I.
Comparing BLUE to Canidae, Canidae is the better food. But my dog did not do well on either one, so I'm not going to go and say that no one should buy either one of those foods because of that.

(I'd lose my job if I did that! hahahahaha lol lol lol)

I thought we already went over this? lol

Your favorite, CANIDAE.

Some raw, and salmon oil has been helping his bumps (I think).

Snooper - I hear lots of dogs hating Canidae, so no suprise. Maybe mine only eat it because I loaded it with salmon oil

I forgot, sorry.
Canidae is not my favorite it is just the best all around that I could find.

I am really considering not using canidae or blue buffalo now after reading all of this.....

But, very curious on the kirkland brand... I saw the ingredients

Do you think he is better on Nutro or Kirkland?
