cody didn't lift his leg until almost a year old. i swear, i thought he never would (which would have eliminated the pee splatter on my jeans on a windy day LOL). is your pup around other male dogs? cody learned after hanging out with some other male dogs.

Many dogs that ive seen lift up their leg to pee pee right on one of their front legs lol. Even if it does look girly when I have my own dogs I would rather them both pee squating (or like ive seen some other dogs do, just pee standing up). If they pee in grass like that it usually doesnt get on their feet...

Fonzie (he's a German Shepherd, but oh well) has only lifted his leg 3 times his whole life so far (he's 9).. but he's lived with females all his life too.

It's so funny because they don't master their balance and almost fall

Norton still squats at nearly 3 years old. Half of the time the lazy pig doesn't even put effort into actually squatting. He just stands there normally and pees on his front feet.

Bonneville does this too. She will walk across the entire grass filled yard just to take a big dump on the cement driveway. :po:
