VF Complete All Natural Active Adult Dog Food

http://www.arkat.com/vfc_dog_active.html

what do you think of this? i have been feeding Canidae All Life Stages since January but the distributor is out and won't be getting a shipment for the next 2 weeks. heard about this dog food at a local feed store so i decided oh well.. try it out since there is nothing else to feed. when i read the ingredients it looked pretty good but not as much as canidae's.

so how would you rate this dog food out of 10? would it come close to canidae? it's $3.00 cheaper and if its at the same standard as canidae i will be switching.

Brewers rice is garbage. I would say that is OK. There are a lot of better ones out there. Are you a Costco member?

Rice is better than corn or wheat. If it's only for two weeks, it really does not matter. But there are a lot of better one out there. If you are a Costco member, Kirkland has a pretty good one for cheap.

Companies will change the form of one ingredient so that it looks as if Chicken meal is the first ingrdeient which is not, RICE is.

I used VF adult for three weeks last month. I REALLY liked it. The dogs all did well... so well in fact that I had to cut rations! I would still be using it but it was on back order. I plan to start up again as soon as its back in stock.
I would recommend it. Yes, there are other more ideal foods but it is the first one in ages that I really liked for my entire crew. I liked it a lot better than Chicken Soup For The Dog Lovers Soul and Canidae.

You probably had to cut back on it due to being full of carbs.
